I have not been able to view a video or watch live newscasts since I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Lion 10.7.5. I have the latest download of Flash Player now (11.8.800.168) insstalled now. I go to the Flash Player site and they say, ' Flash Player 10.3.183.5 to get the best experience with Mac OS X Lion', but then I cannot find a place to download that version. Also I am not sure how secure that version is. I have a MacBook Pro Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and Flash Player 11.8.800.something and it works well to pull up and watch news videos. Have you rebooted your computer? Since you installed Lion, have you verified your hard disk and repaired permissions? You can do that with Disk Utility in the Utilities folder. One of the following steps should help. System Preferences > Other/ Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All Press the 'Delete All' button Install Adobe Flash Player. Restart computer. Relaunch Safari. Enable Plug-ins Safari > Preferences > Security Web Content: > 'Enable Plug-ins'. Or Internet Plug-ins > 'Allow all other plug-ins 3. Check whether you are currently in YouTube HTML 5 trial.
